2012 Subaru Impreza WRX

The Impreza WRX features an impressive 6 speaker sound system and single-disc CD player.  The WRX comes standard with USB port/iPod  ® control, an auxiliary input jack, and Bluetooth® audio because you love to control your music.  It also features available SIRIUS® or XM® Satellite Radio.  All WRX models come standard with Bluetooth® hands-free phone control, and has available 6.1 inch display GPS navigation system.  All of these features add up to a powerful entertainment system which you can take with you wherever you go.

Outstanding Performance

The Impreza WRX comes standard with an intercooled, turbocharged 265 horsepower engine, and the STI kicks it one notch up to a full 305 horsepower engine.  Supporting that powerful engine, the WRX has sport-tuned 4-wheel fully independent suspension, including front and rear stabilizer bars.  The STI goes one step further by bolstering it's speed including high-performance track-tuned suspension with pillow ball mounts, inverted struts, and aluminum-alloy lower L-arms.  Also, all Subaru models come with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and the high performance, vibration-canceling SUBARU BOXER® engine.  After all, outstanding performance shouldn't be an accessory.
Safety

Even with that much power, your adrenaline can come from exhilaration, and not fear  because Subaru is the only manufacturer with IIHS top safety picks given to all its models three years in a row.  The Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Vehicle Dynamics Control System sense where the vehicle is and which wheels have traction, giving power to the right parts of the vehicle at the right time.  The Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) system balances where the breaking power is going according to how the vehicle is loaded, and the Brake Assist system ensures that maximum power goes to the break system in an emergency situation.  But if the worst does happen, the WRX's six advanced airbag are connected to sensors, including rollover sensors, which ensure that the airbags are deployed in the most effective way possible.  The ring-shaped, high tensile strength steel frame also directs force from the crash around the passenger compartment, not through it.
Exhilarating...

The electroluminescent information gauges, leather wrapped steering wheel, and available leather seats set the mood, and the driver takes control.  The WRX gives gear control to the driver with a fully synchronized 5-speed manual transmission, and the STI goes one level up with quick-shifting, close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission.  The STI's Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) All-Wheel Drive system even gives the driver control over how the AWD system distributes power.  Having minute control over all of the WRX's power is absolutely exhilarating.
