The 2013 Legacy's low-profile, smooth SUBARU BOXER® engine combines balance with power  and efficiency, making for strong performanceand an even smoother ride.  All Subaru models also come with standard Symmetrical All Wheel Drive which delivers even power to the right wheels at the right time without the complex mechanical components which rear-wheel and front-wheel based AWD vehicles require.  Also available is the Lineartronic® Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system which makes it possible to get more performance per gallon.  The Legacy also has a 6 speed manual transmission available for those who want to take charge of the powerful BOXER® engine. These components, and others like them, translate into a smooth, powerful, reliable, and fuel-efficient driving experience for our Spokane area customers.
Safety

Subaru is the only manufacturer with IIHS top safety picks given to all its models three  years in a row.  The Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Vehicle Dynamics Control System sense where the vehicle is and which wheels have traction, giving power to the right parts of the vehicle at the right time.  The Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) system balances where the breaking power is going according to how the vehicle is loaded, and the Brake Assist system ensures that maximum power goes to the break system in an emergency situation.  But if the worst does happen, the Outback's six advanced airbags are connected to sensors which ensure that the airbags are deployed in the most effective way possible.  The ring-shaped, high tensile strength steel frame also directs force from the crash around the passenger compartment, not through it.

The Subaru Legacy's rear seat can fold down at a 65/35 split which means both large items and rear passengers can be transported at the same time.  It features a 10-way adjustable power driver's seat, and a 4-way adjustable power passenger seat.  The new available Subaru EyeSight™2 assists the driver in staying on the road, and will even help stop the car when it senses an impending accident.  The Legacy's comfort, safety, and great gas mileage make it ready to take whatever the road can dish out.
